This company is awful. I tried to sign up for auto-pay on their app but it does not work. If I happen to forget about making the payment, they shut off my power with zero notice. When the power is turned off, I can't even verify when it will be turned back on because they do not have a single real person working in customer service. They do not care about making things easier or more convenient for their customers. In fact, they go out of their way to hear as little as they can and to do as little as possible.
I’ve had two electrical emergencies that they responded to swiftly. So, 5 stars on that. I’ve had few power outages, and the ones that I’ve experienced have been resolved swiftly. So, 5 stars on that. However, the billing practices at NLR electric are hard for me to comprehend. How does my bill skyrocket inexplicably some months, yet my usage is less than it was on cheaper months? I heat and cool about 1200 sq feet (thermostat always set to 60 in winter and 78 in summer). The customer service motto should be “ We hate people especially customers each and everyone is a problem. Don’t call or come up in here. We don’t wanna see your face. We don’t wanna hear your voice..°
