Euthanized my cat and did not call me first. I asked Dr.Heather why and the response I get was "I don't have the time to call you" I was the person who was paying for overpriced care and pet food for ten years. But they did not have the time to call and tell me what was wrong with my pet before killing it. I even stated " not one secretary could pick up the phone and call me first" than I got the we don't have the time speech all over again. The negative reviews are rinnging true.

I have taken numerous small pets, cats, and 2 dogs to North Heritage. The staff are so kind, courteous, and respectful no matter the reason for visit. From the staff at reception to the techs and vets themselves it's obvious they care. It's apparent they are there for the animals and not the almighty dollar. They are thorough and very knowledgeable and if I could rate them higher then a 5 I would.

Beware if you haven’t taken your pet here in a few years, you will no longer be considered a client. And they don’t seem very eager to accept new clients either. I mean, I get it, they’re probably overrun with the patients they already have but they should at least send some sort of email reminder saying that if you don’t bring your pet in soon, you will no longer be a client. Anyway I decided to go with Grey Bruce Pet Hospital instead.. they were very happy and welcoming of a new client
