I had a very disappointing experience with Marcia Guinyard and North Georgia Family Lawyers. I would not recommend Marcia Guinyard or North Georgia Family Lawyers based on my experience. I hired this firm during an extremely stressful child support/family court matter, and I was deeply disappointed with the representation I received. As a single mother, I felt vulnerable and desperate for strong legal advocacy, but what I experienced felt far more focused on billing than actually fighting for me. Attorney Guinyard represented me for a criminal case with a mental health aspect after ending the professional relationship with Attorney Cawanna Brown, the attorney that I was originally referred. I was not given reason for the break in relationship. Attorney Guinyard was able to make a deal with the state where I was given 10 years of probation with the potential for a suspension of probation at 2 years depending on my progress.
