This inn is truly amazing! A perfect romantic getaway! There are no words to describe the warmth you feel when you walk into the North Fork Mountain Inn for the first time. Ed, one of the owners, made our New Year’s Eve visit an extra special one with a truly delectable 6 course meal with outstanding wine pairings. Our suite was so inviting with a gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and comfy king size bed. Definitely put this one on your list!
The experience was nothing short of amazing. Ed was fantastic, and his food was out of this world. The scenery was breathtaking and the area was definitely a getaway. So happy to have had our wedding here. We'll definitely be returning for our anniversaries! Oh, and Carol's cookies are the BEST!
My husband and I spent the weekend at North Fork Mountain Inn. We had a wonderful time. It is secluded in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, yet it’s easy to get to. It is rustic and very comfortable. The innkeepers, Ed & Carol Fischer, and their assistant, Davis, are just lovely people. They could not have been nicer or friendlier, or more accommodating. For health reasons, my husband must adhere to a very strict diet. I had emailed Ed, who is also the inn’s chef, a few days prior to our visit with some dietary guide... read more
I have to write a good review for these ppl. I know we have flooded fb with marriage pictures and updates. But this has honestly been the best B and B you could ever think of. We scheduled for the elopement package and the hosts were amazing. The provided us with everything in the package. A wedding photographer, massages, a ton of extras, chocolate covered strawberries, specialized wedding cake and the gentleman that owns is a preacher. We got married right on the deck of the main building. It was wonderful. If anyone is lo... read more
Loved coming here, the view is amazing from every room and the host prepared a meal that was out of this world. He was also amazingly gracious. Didn't expect that way out on the side of a mountain in West Virginia.
Spent the weekend at North Fork Mountain Inn for my wife’s birthday. Had a great time relaxing. Really enjoyed the peace and tranquility as well as Carol the owner. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to get away. Heads up complete lack of cell service which was great.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and had a such a great time that I took my wife back for a fall get away for her birthday that same year. We are planning to go back this year for a weekend get away. And we both want to say a special thank you to Ed and Carol for running such a beautiful inn.
Our first time visit was extraordinary! Love the small setting and the personal touches! Ed was hospitable and attentive! Our room was fantastic with a breathtaking view! We will definitely visit again!
