Awesome place to get away, relax, take a hike, enjoy delicious meals, and meet some amazing people!!
A beautiful country inn surrounded by the national forest with almost no development within miles. The view from the porch and balcony is to die for. Ed and Coral are very caring hosts, and Ed is a great chef and sommelier who knows his wine. This is a great place to relax and to connect with nature.
North Fork Mountain Inn is a beautiful, relaxing place to rest and rejuvenate. Everything was perfect, from the room, to the area, to the amazing staff, and the food. Highly recommended!
We had an overnight stay at the Inn for our 34th Anniversary. Ed and Carol are amazing. They provide a wonderful environment for anyone who visits. We stayed in the Kings Entry Room, and ate delicious meals fixed by Chef Ed and desserts by Carol. The best view from the front porch. If you want a get away for weekend or just over night this is the place.
Amazing anniversary getaway! Definitely will return again. Our suite was so comfortable with a king size bed, recliners, direct tv and a whirlpool tub! Ed and Carol were wonderful hosts who cared to make our 25th anniversary very special! We were served gourmet meals with fine wine in a beautiful mountain setting. We hiked, took a train ride and on the last night were surprised by a star studded night sky with a chorus of owls hooting in the background!
This weekend we visited the inn to celebrate our first wedding anniversary after being married there last year. We felt like we were walking back into our second home. Ed and Carol were as gracious as ever, but this year we received the added bonus of meeting their grandkids, and this was the highlight of the weekend. We are back home now but are already planning next year. Olivia, Devin, Logan and Maya we hope you will be there again next year!! Also Davis...was great to meet you and enjoyed talking with you!
Beautiful area, nice people/hosts

This place is tucked into a hidden road in the Mountains of West Virginia but well worth the adventure getting here. A great place to unplug and unwind with delicious food, beautiful views and gracious hosts. Don’t expect cell coverage hear, you won’t get it but they do have wi-fi (though I suggest limiting your time with that and just taking in the views and surrounding area.
