Had to have emergency surgery and was well taken care of.
Sent my mom home in a day in no condition to go home. Had an infection in her bone and couldn’t walk and you sent her home. Had to have ems come out to the house and requested another hospital. I DO NOT recommend this hospital
My family had a good experience at this medical center in Gainesville, FL. My mom was part of their new blood cancer program, I believe she was their first patient going through it at this hospital. I was not there. My mom and dad were there and stayed in the hospital room for two weeks. Nurses and doctors taking care of them were very helpful, patient, supportive, and welcoming. I try to get pictures of the Christmas lights every year.
My mother went to ER in Millhopper with a broken hip and was transferred to North Florida Regional Hospital for surgery. We went straight to the 6th floor and was immediately taken care of by a wonderful person Tatiana. She took care of all my mother personal needs. She made my mom very comfortable, did not embarrass her when she was changing her gown, all in all treated us like family. That is priceless. Everyone else was fantastic as well.
