First of all the front desk and surgical staff were fantastic. Billing is abysmal. They make you pay upfront, which I did. I got my EOB which showed my insurance paid in full so I want a refund. The person I spoke to insisted they didn’t get their check yet (she insisted paper checks were mailed to the facility, which I seriously doubt) I requested to speak to a supervisor and she advised me no supervisors were available. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Friendly nurses and staff
Cataract surgery this morning. Hospital staff are highly efficient with personalities that reduce patient anxiety. My experience was to a high standard - highlighted by Christina in the operating room and Dr Hancock, the head of anesthesiology. I had a prior bad anesthesia experience. Dr Hancock’s style gave me confidence moving forward. When I see good operations I know it requires good leadership and a commitment to develop staff. Thanks for an excellent experience. See you next wk for the left eye.
Most surgery centers try to rush you in and out, but these folks were nothing short of professional and welcoming from the front desk to discharge. Extra shout out to Dr. Hancock with anesthesia who even agreed to letting the teddy bear come to the OR as long as he agreed to wear the mask and cap. Small gestures like this make a HUGE difference to a child, putting the parents at ease. I hope we never meet again, but if we must, this is the team I want.
Wonderful people at every step of the way here. Highly recommended.
