Where should I start? My friend went to the emergency room for a fractured pelvis and was admitted. He was disoriented and had an alarm on his bed. He was taken for a walk, the bed alarm wasn't turned back on, he was getting up to go towards the bathroom, fell and broke his femur. He had to have a procedure putting a rod in front his hip to his knee. Clear Lake Regional Emergency Department sent home a patient who has low level enzymes for liver, double vision, and can not walk on their own. First ER Dr said patient needed a plasma drip that would be a 4.5 hr procedure, then due to high patient volume and the nurses being "overwhelmed" he was discharged as medically cleared to go stand on the curb and wait for a ride. Only use this place as a last resort! Took two and a half hours PAST our appointment time to do pre-admission testing. They called at 8:30 the night before surgery to tell us it’s been moved up two and a half hours. Now we’re here and there is no coffee for sale anywhere in the building. WTF!!!
RecommendedRecently had a Sleep study and had to return for a CPAP titration. Kathy did both my studies and was phenomenal. Sleep lab environment is quiet and comfortable. Pre-registration was a breeze. I also recently started OT for a hand injury. I have been very pleased with the care I have received since day one at Outpatient Sports Medicine. I will NEVER use this place again! I have been admitted, since Friday. I have been housed in a refugee/inmate type area! I have no walls, no door, no tv, I haven’t been able to shower or bath since I’ve been here. Good thing I had sense enough to pack daily cleaning essentials. They have lied to me the entire time I’ve been here, saying they have no rooms available. Because of the lack of privacy, I can hear everything around me. el peor hoapital del mundo si tiene algun familiar y por nada lo lleven a este hospital esta lleno de viladores de gente mal educada y de enfermoa mentales llamados doctores y enfermeras , llevarle a un paciente a este hoapital es la peor decision que pueden tomar , pero esto en mi caso sera llevado a problemas legales y a los imbeciles involucrados en caso de violacion les voy a castrar , este hoapital sera cerrado despues del problema legal en el cual se vera envuelto por el acto causado
RecommendedWe had our daughter on August 25th 2020 and had the best experience. Every single person was so nice and helpful. I was so happy to choose such an awesome hospital. If we decide to try for another baby we would 1000000% choose HCA. Labor & Delivery was so awesome. Postpartum was absolutely the best care. It is the worst hospital I have ever been, since I was admitted to the emergency room, the staff is inhuman they saw me crying in pain and they do not care they did not help me to get into a wheelchair and I left walking bent over in pain they sent me I went home to take Tylenol, the staff who were there at the time, they stared at me and no one helped me to leave, the worst thing was when they wanted to insert the IV to give the medications in my arm, the nurse did not find ... I would recommend a veterinarian office for your loved one before I'd recommend this hospital! Absolutely horrible!
