The ER is a nightmare. The doctor literally asked us, “what do you expect us to do here in the ER?” After the doctor checked my daughter, they sent us back into the waiting room. After waiting 2 more hours, I asked a tech if they have gotten the results from the test. She dismissed my question; she didn’t even answer me. After another 30 minutes passed, a different tech asked me if they had gotten an urine sample which they had not. At this point, we were there for 4 1/2 hours. Horrible billing department! After receiving labwork and an MRI, I paid my copay and never heard anything else from them ...until I began receiving notices from 'Medicredit', a debt collector. When I asked Medicredit what this was for all they would tell me was a dollar amount and a date of service. When I requested a copy of an original invoice they claimed they couldn't provide one.
