I just want to say I had thee most amazing delivery team ever at UNC! Thanks to the RN Kaitlyn, the midwife Natalie and the most amazing doula anyone could ever ask for, Emily!! They were all so very patient, hands on from beginning to end! I am so very thankful. I’ve already told family and friends if they were to ever have a baby UNC Hospital is the one! Highly recommended. And I also can’t forget about the after birth team! The RNs and everyone that came to the room! Love it
The first nurse I had upon arriving to Labor and Delivery on 8/22 and getting me in my room was Jaden and she was awesome, thorough and patient with us… Amanda Aka Pinky was my 7p to 7a nurse during the rest of my stay. And when I say she stood on business about me and my family I could not have asked for a better nurse. If it was not for her I would have probably given in and had a C-section I didn’t need. The nurses are so professional and dedicated, we have met more than a dozen in our stay, they all have been very supportive and caring.
As someone who came from delivering at two smaller hospitals for the last 4 births and not being high risk to being high risk with cardiac issues and an early delivery I will recommend this hospital and more specifically Women's Center for anyone looking for a place that will take care of them. My experience has been a literal dream here(to be honest I was nervous because I had excellent deliveries and care at the previous 2 hospitals I delivered in but this one topped it.) I delivered my baby girl at the Women’s Hospital here and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience by far the best experience I’ve had having a baby I didn’t even have this much of a great experience with my two oldest kids, which were born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina…. I went in April 27th at 10:50pm with my husband I had Jamie as my nurse she was very nice, super caring, and made sure that I was as comfortable as possible..
