well, i wasn't expecting much for a chain restaurant, but it was actually pretty good. i had the kale salad w grilled salmon added and it was very tasty! so was the bloody mary. our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and we did not feel rushed when we lingered after lunch. an overall enjoyable experience.
Cracking Beer and lots of it. - happy hour 4 - 7 pm everyday !
Had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. Yum! Great service! We ordered a michelada and it was only fair. Tasted like. Tomato juice. They can do better.
Food was bad. My Husband got food poisoning from the Hangar Steak sandwich. The Spicy Chicken sandwich I got was not spicy, instead it was sugary sweet. The food was also over priced. Beer was good, servers were good/fast/friendly. Come for the beer, do not bother with the food.
And great beer. Onsite brewed beer should be an option. And that would get 10/10
AC was out last Wednesday and my chicken was under cooked. The server was great in a bad situation, she offered to replace my dish and make things right but I refused, it wasn’t her fault about AC or their cook. I was at hotel next door for a conference and I travel to Austin frequently but won’t be back. We did tip her 25%.
