I have been coming to this restaurant since 1985 and I have never been disappointed. Back in the day they had the best Abalone Steak. The best Italian restaurant in San Francisco!
Stopped in for a meal since our preferred restaurant had an 1.5 hour wait. It was a mistake. Had the shrimp appetizer and linguine and clams. The shrimp were almost inedible (not flavorful and drenched in cocktail sauce) while the linguine and clams were average at best. The Pinot noir; however, was the best part of the meal. I will not be back and would not recommend it.
