Went with a group of 17 people for lunch. We were not given menus (didn’t know prices of the selections given to us orally). We made our selections then asked by the maitr’ed which salad we wanted. Our food came, then at the end they served a dessert to our surprise. We were given one large itemized bill to discovery the salads and desserts were also a charge. It was sticker shock. We felt like we were scammed for salad and dessert.
Great place for dinning out on the city excellent service and great food
Outstanding experience. Great hosts and atmosphere. The food was authentic and prepared perfectly. Deserts were over the top. We had a table of nine and our evening was memorable!
We went there after seeing Beach Blanket Babylon and was able to get in without a reservation. Waiter asked if we wanted wine and seemed mad when we didn’t. For health reasons, we can’t. We asked if enough salad for two to split and he said no. Wife ordered veal scallopini and I ordered chicken Marsala. It came and the chicken looked like veal and tasted like it with a weird tasting sauce on it with no mushrooms. Waiter never came back till he brought the check.
