Excellent, fair, very efficient, and very knowledgeable.
This was about as painless a car-buying experience as I have ever encountered - in fact so oddly smooth I kept wondering - where am I going wrong? What have I missed? When is this deal gonna bite me in the a$$? Because most dealerships are so hellish I anticipated all the usual idiocy, and when it didn't happen I had to pause and wrap my mind around that. Had a solid experience with this dealer. Worked exclusively with Mark who is a straight shooter. If you're looking for a very efficient no frills (gaudy showrooms, etc) experience with knowledgeable sales staff, I recommend North Bay Imports.
Mark was very responsive and provided a wealth of information about the vehicle. If I had not found a local deal it would definitely have been worth the travel to purchase the vehicle. Mark was accommodating and forthcoming about the process. I would certainly consider using them in the future.
No Stars!! I had to repeatedly contact the seller and they got back to me 1 time and the message asked me to put down money 2.5K via Western Union and when I asked if I could see the car first, test drive etc dice I'm not to far from them... I never heard back from them. EXTREMELY SKETCHY for a business!!
Dealt with Mark - spoke with him on Friday, test drove on Saturday, drove away w/new car on Tuesday. I would recommend Mark and would definitely deal with him again for sure.
Mark and Dave were both easy to work with. I ended up buying my 09 Avant without any hassles at a fair price. They took my VW GLI on trade at a higher value than my local dealer in the Albany area wanted to give me. One minor complaint was that the car was below 1/4 tank of gas so the first thing I had to do was stop and fill it up before heading back to the Albany area..
I spoke with Dave by phone about a 2009 Eos Komfort that would be arriving at his dealership. He was very responsive, followed up with me as promised, was pleasant to deal with and car prices seemed great. Had I lived closer to his dealership, I'm sure I would have purchased from him! If you're in this geography, I'd definitely check this dealershhip out.
This dealer would not negotiate price at all and did not appear to be very honest with us when discussing the car or his business. The car we went there to test drive was being "used" by the staff. It wasn't appropriately cleaned and had personal items in it.
