I am a native of Huntsville, Alabama. I went to Auburn University and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1995. Following that, I went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham for medical school. I trained in General Urology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City before doing a Urologic Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. I took my 2 week old son to see Dr Hicks for is enlarged kidney. Dr Hicks wasn’t available for an appointment for another month so I settled for his nurse practitioner, Stephanie Frank. She was so cold, rude, and spoke to my mother-in-law, a retired nurse, like she was 4 years old. She was condescending and acted like her time was more valuable than ours. RecommendedDr Hicks is fabulous! I cannot say enough great things about him. He is everything a kids’ doctor should be.
I can not say enough about NAU and their staff. Dr. Pettus is my doctor and has done surgery on me. He's very professional, caring and his bedside manner is also top notch. I'd recommend him to anyone with urology issues.
Dr Zbell and his staff are amazing. They cared for my Grandfather who suffered from dementia and everyone was so kind and patient with him. I cannot praise them enough!
The Dr and his personal staff were OVER THE TOP. They were so kind and considerate to my sister who Is in final stages of dementia.. they also were so helpful to me trying to maneuver her. TY, y’all are AWESOME!
I only say Dr.Zbell twice and do not plan to go back to him. The last straw was when I developed yet again another UTI and I faxed over TWICE the culture results to Zbell's office because at my last visit he claimed my urine was clean, that he would not culture it, and that if I got another UTI to call his office. I had the worst experience with Sherry at their Madison office. She LOUDLY took a personal phone call and found out someone had posted a bad review about her on Google reviews. She started cussing very loudly in front of children in the waiting room. I heard the whole thing so I looked up the review and it was SPOT ON!!! She treated everyone who came in, including me, like they were trying to get out of paying. Great physicins that care about your well-being
I had Dr hicks with both of my kidney surgeries and he was great I again have stones in both kidneys again but can't go see him cause I got divorced so I lost my insurance I really need to see him again though cause my back where my kidneys are I've been in so much pain and it just keeps getting worse but I highly recommend them
