I have a sister in there that is getting therapy and everything so far is going well and she has a long recovery. God has a for all of us. sometimes we have to recover from the recovery.
My husband was a patient there from July 24-August 20. My husband was transferred there from Huntsville Hospital. I was worried because I had not heard good things about Long term acute care facilities. I was so wrong to be worried. From the moment he was admitted until discharge we could not have had better care. It was like the staff was our extended family. I was very sick in Huntsville Main for almost 2 months. I needed almost 30liters of oxygen, felt like I was trying to breathe through water! I normally took 2liters at home, I was in severe respiratory distress! This place saved my life!! They put me on a high flow nasal canula and worked around the clock to get my oxygen tapered down. I have a sister in there that is getting therapy and everything so far is going well and she has a long recovery and now my sister has been moved to Pulaski Tennessee rehabilitation for better care that the Specialty hospital couldn't provide. so now she is doing much better in Pulaski rehabilitation center.
