Looking for meds that don't set off ADHD. They wouldn't even consider seeing me for my depression and OCD because they were really caught up on the fact that I had adhd. Was not looking for medication for adhd. The front desk lady was a terrible listener. And got all weird about they wouldn't see me without a diagnosis. Again. I was not looking for adhd medication, but they were still saying no. If you are trying to manage multiple things, with a mindset of minimal meds, this place is obviously not the choice for you.
I was a patient of Amy Boggs and was recently discharged from her care after missing two appointments. To clarify, I called their office the morning of the first appointment, even before they opened, to notify them. The second appointment I did miss without calling. While I understand the importance of keeping appointments, it's incredibly disheartening to be dismissed from a mental health practice for reasons directly tied to the very conditions they were treating me for. Ruined my future and ignored my previous diagnosis for ADHD when I finally broke down from the stress due to declining mental faculties almost ended up involuntarily committed to a mental institution. I don't recommend their service for anyone who has ADHD or autism unless you're looking to be treated for the side effect of depression that comes with it even at the expense of damage to cognitive function and abilities. I was surprised to see only a 3.2 rating because, honestly, this place is amazing! Nicole is one of the most awesome people I’ve ever met—she genuinely cares and always makes me feel valued. The front staff is fantastic as well, consistently helpful, polite, and professional. Every visit has been a positive experience, and I’ve never felt anything less than welcomed. Just wanted to share my two cents because they truly deserve a higher rating!
