I called Norman's the morning of a wedding I was shooting, in a panic, because the extra body I had rented from an online rental company wasn't working and I couldn't get a response from their customer service. Love Norman's. Bought my first DSLR there five years ago. Today, I upgraded for the first time. The employees there know what they are doing. They are not pushy either. They want to make sure you get what you need.
My wife is a novice photographer but the Kalamazoo team (shout out to Brett) has always treated us well. We may not know the lingo but they take the time to ensure we understand how to operate all the equipment we're purchasing as well as explain the benefits and features of all the different options. My wife loves her Nikon and all the gadgets she's accumulated over the years. We live on the east side of the state but always make it a point to stop by Norman Kalamazoo when we're visiting family in the area.
We visited the Kalamazoo store for the first time in September, and Andrew that we worked with was VERY knowledge and helpful. I am enjoying the macro lens and printer purchased. I liked the selection of printer papers especially!

super friendly and knowledgeable staff. always has what i need and on many occasions have gone way out of their way to make sure i was taken care of. dont shop at amazon or best buy. get your gear from your local experts.
I bought the wrong lens on Amazon from Norman Camera, thinking they had sent me the wrong lens. When I called, the man that answered was super helpful and educated this tired sleep deprived mom on the correct lens necessary for my camera. Since I am somewhat local to the store, I may be shopping in person instead of online. Thank you so much!
I walked in and told the salesman what I wanted in a camera and he showed me several that had the features I wanted and also fit my budget. Since they're an authorized Cannon business, the salesman said they'll automatically register my camera! Thank you for your service!!!
