The food at Norey's lately has been AMAZING The turkey potpie was fantastic and came with a full Norey's salad for $17. The mushroom bread pudding $10 was like nothing I've ever had- great texture and density-OUTSTANDING,as a was the pickle-brined fried chicken with a honey glaze. Freaking Good. – Just tried it last night after hearing very good things. Believe the hype, amazing beer list, ludacrisly delicious food, relaxed atmosphere. Everything was just perfect. Apparently one of Heaven's Restaurants has fallen to Earth... – My family literally stumbled into Norey's on a Wednesday evening in mid-July, having scoured that stretch of Broadway for anything reasonable. Hungry, frustrated, and lacking any information about the restaurant, we assumed we would enter, take one look, and quickly exit. Best Spinach Salad EVER – I still dream about the spinach salad here. I had it 3 years ago and have tried to recreate it at home, but to no avail. It included fresh Maine blueberries, amazing goat cheese, with their heavenly homemade balsamic dressing. I need to get back to Newport if for no other reason than this place!
Great find in Newport – We are Newporters and had yet to try this restaurant....well we missed out. We were never sure what kind of restaurant it was with the counter seating. But the dinner menu had so many choices. I had the fried goat cheese with spinach, out of this world as well as the the spinach salad. The pasta entree was great (large portion) and chix. quesadilla was wonderful....The best part of the meal was dessert.....The yellow cake with choc. frosting...Also this was poss. the best service Newport has.
