This gym is the real deal. Old skool free weights type of gym. It could slow paced or fast paced. You feel comfortable and confident about yourself. It's also well affordable.
I've been coming to group classes with the owner, AJ, since March and I LOVE this place! After practicing yoga for over a decade, my body was in need of some re-balancing via strength training. I was hesitant because of all the high-octane-lift-and-run-till-you-puke sort of workouts that are offered nowadays. What I really appreciate is the mindful approach offered here. You will get a great workout, gain notable strength, and do it all with an awareness in your body so that you stay safe.
I've been coming to this gym for about 3 months and I love it. It's a great atmosphere and my trainer is always pushing me to give my very best! Exactly what I need!

NorCal Healthworks is my church because it's a gd miracle any fitness establishment can inspire me to consistently exercise. The trainers are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I started 7 months ago without any kind of athletic ability and thanks to the dedicated trainers I'm not only stronger but I've also stayed injury free. 5 stars!
This gym is exactly what I had been looking for! I have never lifted weights or done any kind of training workout and was really intimidated with gym equipment. If it weren't for AJ's welcoming, motivating, and knowledgeable guidance I would have never thought I could do some of the things he has us doing. So grateful to have found a gym environment that truly is welcoming to all bodies and levels of fitness and that is owned and operated by someone that really cares and loves what he does.
Exactly what I was looking for.
