I started with Matthew Shay over a year ago when I was so depressed and had no where to turn. He has helped me completely flip my life around and now doing so much better. He’s the only therapist I’ve ever had that actually cares about his patients and how they are actually feeling with no judgement at all. He’s so easy to talk to and tbh every other therapist I could never find myself telling them anything personal but with Matthew he listens and cares so I feel comfortable sharing personal things in my life. Finding a good therapist that you ‘click’ with takes some time. I researched several places and counselors before I found Nora in Niles. Matt Shay has been incredibly helpful for me. Really grateful for him and his wisdom, helping me navigate life stuff!
This whole place seems completely unprofessional. I didn't speak with anyone except through a couple texts before the first appointment. They were supposed to email me paperwork to fill out before the first appointment and didn't. For the payment for the first appointment I had been sent an invoice and paid it myself, but once they had my debit card information they automatically charged for subsequent appointments even though there was no agreement that they could that. When in doubt, check it out! This place is very good. It’s nice having someone to talk with about any issues you have going on in your life. Autumn is fantastic. Highly recommend coming here if you need to talk with someone!
