Extremely disappointed by the service of NorWest. They gave a delivery window from 1pm to 5pm and didn’t show up until past 7:30pm. They didn’t give any heads up that they would be late and only called when they were 20 mins away. This has happened both times I’ve used them. What disrespect of my time, won’t be happening again.

We had a very disappointing experience with NorWest AC & Heating Service Corp. In 2021, they installed our AC unit, and now, during the extreme cold weather in New York, a critical part of the unit has broken, leaving us without proper heating. We have a NEWBORN baby!!!, and the cold in our home has made this situation urgent. We tried scheduling an appointment, explaining our circumstances, and even offered to pay extra to expedite the service. I’m writing this late as initially I was satisfied with the service I got from Antonio and Francis. They came to deal with a clogged drain on a PTAC unit in August. Fast forward to December, there was no heat coming from the unit. Called Nor-West and there weren’t any service openings for weeks. It was 50 degrees inside so I needed someone ASAP. Called a local appliance repair and he came same day. Found out that the wires for the heat were disconnected. They also did something to the zone valve which needed to be replaced. ... read more

I purchased an Islandaire PTAC from Nor-west in 2021. PTAC’s can be ornery machines, right? Maureen and her colleagues at Nor-west were patient about explaining my options when I made my initial purchase, and always professional whenever they come to my door, even when I’m a neurotic PITA and ask their tech crew to put on shoe covers. Poor workmanship of Norwest techs although price was good: I bought a new PTAC from norwest but was totally disappointed with the installation done by them The first pair of techs came to install on Oct 28th just put the new PTAC in and NOT doing any checks on aligning the PTAC properly into the sleeve and NOT doing any insulation at all to seal the gaps, resulting in noise and air penetration from outside.
