I went to Dr. Ghayoumi for a third opinion on my gum issues. (My first dentist had recommended gum graft, second, recommended braces.) She was very thorough and thoughtful, and did not rush the visit. Her recommendation was a combination of the two opinions I'd gotten before and I'm definitely considering it.
I was referred to Dr. Ghayoumi by my general dentist for an emergency cracked tooth that needed to be removed and an implant inserted. I am one of the few people who has never had a cavity - just cleanings, so to say this 40-something was a little nervous is an understatement. After about 15 min with Dr Ghayoumi I felt very comfortable with her personal demeanor and highly impressed with her credentials. I've had Dr. Ghayoumi's hands in my mouth for several years now. She performed gum flap surgery on me (upper and lower), did an implant, and I go to her for regular periodontal check-ups. Her office in Irvine, CA is state of the art but most importantly, it is clean. I travel about 35 miles to her office but it is well worth the time and drive to be treated by someone who truly cares about her patients and someone who has a passion for her work.
