Good service tasty food

This was my first time at Noodlebox. I walked from the Red Lion Hotel. The restaurant looked too interesting to ignore and I was ready for a different sort of quick meal. The Friday evening rush was well past at 7:30 pm. The establishment was tidy and the staff inviting. I had a teriyaki chicken bowl which was still piping hot after I got back to my hotel room. It was a tasty mix of veggies, noodles, chicken and the egg on top. I'll be back tomorrow for sure.
So bland that I thought I was pregnant. I don't like leaving bad reviews, or voicing out unhappiness, because let's face it, local businesses need to thrive. However, there's the odd exceptions: This was so disappointing that it caused me to review sooner rather than later. Firstly been visiting this location off and on for the past 10+ years. Sadly, this location has gone downhill over the years since first opening at Uptown. Today, though, was just the worst! The company's e-blast offered a BOGO deal for International Ramen Day. The cashier said we must order through the app, but today's deal wasn't working in our app after we struggled with it for about10 minutes. Upon asking the manager for help, it turned out the deal WAS available through the cash register...the only reason "the customer must use the app" was that, by their own admission, the cashier didn't ... read more
