Swanky state-of-the-art theater across from Staples Center. – Designed to cater to everything from big-ticket musical acts and family-friendly touring specials as well as elaborate award shows and corporate events, this wide indoor amphitheater keeps the 7,100 seats close to the action while still allowing for legroom and personal space. Two 16-foot LED screens bookend the largest stage in Southern California. The cup holders in the large, plush movie-theater style seats make it easier to take advantage of the full bars at e... read more

Club Nokia anyone? – I haven't been to the Nokia theatre yet, but I have been to Club Nokia (which is so new it's not even on this site!) Club Nokia is awesome. It's got all the swankiness of a new club, without being pretentious. It's a great venue for live music (Beck opened up the place and rocked it!) And although I didn't eat that night, there's apparently food by Wolfgang Puck. -and WHO isn't a fan of his? I give Club Nokia 5 starts for sure, and since it's not on this site yet, you can check out the website: clubnokia... read more

Great sightlines, long beer lines – This venue has great sightlines. I sat in the orchestra section and had no problem seeing even when people were standing up. It was a tight squeeze to stand and dance but that's how it goes. Other reviewers are correct in that you have to stand every time someone wants to get by you. And I agree you should keep an eye on the liquids in the cup holders. The pit section is right at the front and is standing room only. There are probably times when this is the only section when people are sta... read more

No No No NOKIA Give me the Wiltern, the Orpheum, the Hollywood Bowl, the House of Blues, or even the Greek, please! I love music. That's why I say, No No No Nokia! If you appreciate music, the Nokia will ruin your experience. Here's why: The seating is fifty or sixty wide in the orchestra seating section with few aisles There is only an intermission between the opening act the main event, so during the main event, people come and go out for drinks, and you have to stand each time for them to pass. This happened almost every ... read more

Nokia Live Theater, John Fogerty 11/23/2007 – Made a mistake in buying tickets from a non-Ticketmaster location, $134.00 versus $65,00. Buyer beware! There doesn't seem to be a detailed layout guide for the theatre, showing the actual seats, just sections. The theatre is beautiful and I expect many entertainers will use this place for their venues. The parking is close and ample. Although I didn't use their concession stands (lines were very long). The staff were very helpful and courteous. The show was very late in starting... read more

Not enough BLING for the BIG BUCK! – I just went to the Nokia Theatre last night to see the Eagles and Dixie Chicks. I was satisfied with their performances, but the Nokia Theatre ( for their ticket prices) have something to be desired...... Firstly, once you go in you can't GO OUT and there's NO SMOKING ANYWHERE, so it's crazy being locked in there for 3 1/2 to 4 hours with no cig. The sound on the Dixie Chicks must have been off, because I could NEVER understand one word they ever sang. The concession lines; they are slowe... read more
