I just got home from a 2 night stay. I had a total knee replacement. The nurses on 2nd floor were awesome. Very compassionate and patient and nice. The one special kitchen lady was so fun. She would pop in with a smile and conversation. I have been in that hospital more times then I can count and this time was by far the best experiences with the nurses and staff..thank you ladies.
Everyone has their opinion, and I thought I had mine. My Grandmother is at SSM right now on the 2nd floor. I was there visiting on Labor Day and I was there this morning and I am sure will be there often in the next few days. The staff and nurses have been amazing. All I can tell people is how awesome they have been and how my view of this hospital has definitely changed. My 3 year old, my mother, my husband and I were treated like family. 1st time ever stepping on the grounds. Here for my sons surgery. We have been welcomed and treated awesome. Our Dr and OR staff have been wonderful.
I will not use SSM Audrain, for any needs, they have a room fee that they charge if you see a Dr/or utilize the Cancer screening service! it is well over $150. MY insurance will not pay! WATCH YOUR BILLS!
the service here sucks. You guys need to get ot together.
The service isn't great. Everytime I go up there I end up sitting in the waiting area for 30 minutes or more and then when they finally get me to a room you end up spending an hour listening to the doctors and nurses laughing and talking about stupid things and if you do go in there with something serious like a messed up bone they usually prescribe you 10mg flexaril because they are idiots and are stealing from there employers they have been reported for taking hydrocodone and Vicodin home for them self
