I got a Horizon bop kit with a Tulip SS snare last year, and it is an awesome set of drums!
Many drum companies have perks and innovations and that's fine, but Noble & Cooley has the history to back up every drum. Not many drum players know N&C has made snares and basses for the Union Army during the Civil War. Enough for history, many drum companies claim their drums are the "Steinway" of the drums. I can see that and with that being the case, N&C is the "C.Bechstein" of the drums.
The quality, sound and beauty of their drums. For my money the best drums that you can buy anywhere. The Noble and Cooley Company is a true American Classic.
