He made it extremely easy to work with him and around our schedules . He was patient with our family and I really appreciated his prompt responses. I know that he cares about his patients. Very competent and knowledgeable
Dr. Matilsky is a caring and compassionate psychiatrist. He took very good care of my child and is very knowledgeable with medications and takes time to explain various options including non-medication options.
Dr Matilsky is focused on helping the patient be their true best. He pays attention to the big picture and the details.

My husband and I were having a very difficult time handling our son’s aggressive behaviors. He was getting expelled out of multiple schools and also extra curricular activities. We were at a loss of what to do and where to go. Dr. Matilsky was extremely empathetic, kind and did so well with our son during the evaluation. Dr. Matilsky is an amazing professional who is empathetic, compassionate, and highly skilled in his craft. He has been incredibly supportive to both me and my daughter.
My child had the psychiatrist for inpatient care. He was rude, arrogant and a bully. He brought my daughter to tears twice with his accusations and demeaning manner. This psychiatrist does not have the professionalism and respect to be treating traumatized children. I would not recommend this psychiatrist to anyone.
If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. I would not recommend this "doctor" to my worst enemy. I got admitted into a behavioral health center and he happened to be the leader of my treatment. He called me the "definition of insanity" and told me I wasn't going home anytime soon and kept pushing back my discharge date. I had to have a court hearing to be able to leave. It was ridiculous.
