We were really disappointed in some of the management issues in our last visit. When we arrived, granted it was late but not last minute, the place was dead and tables hadn’t been bussed, so we had to wait. They informed us that they were out of yellowtail, which is understandable at the end of the day, but when we tried to order our favorite rolls the sushi chef was combative about making accommodations despite their inventory issues. Sushi was ok...but since when do they question what you CHOOSE to add as a tip? Sister bought that evenings meal and forgot to grab her CC...when we went to retrieve it the owners wife had the balls to ask her if her $20 tip was enough? our 3 meals came to $119. so a 20 tip is 17%... most of our service came from the sushi masters which we put a separate tip into their jar! I found this extremely rude and we were all offended! we will not be going back there ever after that insult.

We had thought something happened and we politely inquired as to how the service was. Our intention was to see if our service needed improving. Please know that we do not expect people to tip a certain amount of money and would never ask someone for more.
My wife and I eat here all the time. One of the best places in town. The staff, food, drinks are all good. Definitely recommended.
