we have always had good experiences with family fuels deliveries and with priority comfort service. recently we had a problem with a strong oil smell and someone came out right away. he was courteous, knowledgeable, and patiently answered my questions. At first we were concerned because this smell started soon after a regular maintenence, but the problem turned out to be the seal around the furnace door, and that's not part of regular maintence. They do have some of the cheapest priced fuel around. Thought I'd give the heater service a try based on the $99 special received in the mail. Nothing but problems! They associated with a small company called Priority Comfort. One month after my "pre-season tune-up" by limited experienced 20 something kids, black soot was billowing out of my chimney and the heater tripped off...no heat or hot water. If there were an optin for 0 stars, that would be my choice. I was promised oil on 2 days in a row, neither day was oil delivered to my home even though I told them I had 3 kids under 6 years of age. Was guaranteed oil the second day, promised that it would be delivered and it was not. Numerous phone calls left for the owner went unanswered. If I was promised 1/2 price oil I wouldn't go with them. They left me and my family of 5 (3 kids under 6 years of age) with no oil on 2 of the coldest days of the year, even though I was... read more
