I worked at Nixa Hardware for almost 20 years, 18 of which were great. Then they installed a new manager that is impressed with himself but is not a leader. A leader takes care of their people, by so doing the people will support the manager. I am a combat veteran, twice wounded and lifted from the battle site to the nearest hospital. Result PTSD. 4/8/2021 -- Very Poor Customer Service today. I live 40 miles away so have to make an effort to go to Nixa Hardware & Seed. In the past two years, I have been there a few times, and employees have been helpful and friendly. Not today! I stopped in to get lime pellets in the lawn & garden dept. At the counter I asked a very large bald man where the lime pellets were. He pointed to a pallet close to the counter and said, "right there."
