As a pediatrician, my interests are in Infectious diseases, ADHD & children with Special needs. I believe in incorporating and integrating the therapies from different fields of medicine to help alleviate illness & improve health. I feel that it is important to recognize each child as an individual and integrate preventative measures with appropriate therapeutic interventions to nurture overall health of the child.

excellent doctor; quality time with patients; caring and knows your children; takes time to answer any concerns
She is the family doctor for our kids and is fantastic. Absolutely trust her judgement.
We are so grateful that we found Dr. Ramachandran. She is a caring doctor who takes her time with each patient. You never feel rushed while in her office. She is the only pediatrician that we have found who listens carefully to concerns, approaches wellness in a holistic manner, is respectful of parent choices and is genuinely invested in the health of our children.
I love this doctor! she takes her time with my childrens' examination. She is truly a concerned physician. Her office assistant Pramila is so kind, and helpful. She is very efficient in helping get me a referal when necessary. The office is always very clean and organized. I am very happy with Dr. Ramachandran. I would recommend her to any mother or father.
Great Doctor. She's patient and a listens well. Not pushy or proud when you question things. Around lunch time the office smells food though.
We chose Dr Ramachandran because she is one of the few doctors left in MD that offer parents the right to choose not to vaccinate their children. She looks at the whole child instead of just symptoms and offers a gentler more natural approach to medicine. I appreciate her fresh perspective and that she uses the lost art of common sense. She always makes sure to answer all my questions and takes her time with appointments.
Dr. Rama knows my kids by name. When my older daughter had Lyme, she is the only primary doctor we saw (out of three) who understood that the traditional approach wasn't working. She was supportive of our consultation with a Lyme literate MD, which finally resulted in a cure. She is available by phone for emergencies late at night when we have called with high fever in baby. We have been very happy with this practice-- short waits, kind staff.
She came highly recommended as a doctor for kids with autism. She gave broad brush recommendations for changing my autistic child's diet without any testing whatsoever and in the absense of issues with food or digestion. COnsidering how complicated and individulaized this can be , that was concerning to me. They seem to close early daily, & before weekends and holidays. The office staff completely dropped the ball with a referral resulting in a full week delay in being able to schedule it.
I am not too happy with her services, She is always in a rush so she can move on to the next patient. She only has one employee who does the preliminary checks (weight, height etc) prior to seeing her. Also, Dr. does not have answers to basic questions for someone who has been in practice that long. She is very guarded which hinders her professional capabilities which in turn is not helpful to parents seeking answers. I will score her a 2. The employee always seem overwhelmed.
