Fun birthday spot Not as much fun as the original Gritty downtown but it will do if you are looking for somewhere to celebrate your birthday! Who can complain about a free mug accompanied by unlimited free beer on your birthday?
Give me Gritty Sauce Gritty Sauce, need i say more. This is the best place I have ever found for burgers, fries, and beer. The staff is amazing, there is nothing better then going to either location for a Badger game. This place just rocks. Just make sure you get your of gritty sauce, you will looking for when it is gone.
Great enviornment, but a little lacking The Nitty Gritty has a great atmosphere, they really push celebrating birthdays. However, it's not the greatest place for food. I fould the price really wasn't worth it. I would rather go elsewhere. PROS: Great atmosphere CONS: Food lacking

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, you would think restaurants would be grateful for business. Placed an order three weeks in a row online through one of their 3 online ordering options, Eat Street, and was met with a frustrated curbside waiter who expressed his dissatisfaction to me about ordering this way because it doesn’t indicate who placed the order and the changes we made to our order are confusing.
