Took my 2024 Nissan Rogue in for an issue that was covered under the manufacturer warranty. One would think that when a customer asks the way to rent a car while theirs is being repaired they would say something like. "We can provide you a rental car". But no. They sent me on my way. Rented a car with holiday rates, $65 plus per day. Then when I called to see if the car would be ready, they stated holiday weekend and need to test the car for another day. Ahmed is always a pleasure when I need any service done. He is the reason I continue to do my car maintenance at Nissan of Irvine.
Our last service visit didn’t go as smoothly as usual, which was disappointing given our prior positive experiences over the last 15 years. Communication felt a bit lacking, and the process took longer than expected. That said, the staff has been great in the past, and we’re hopeful this was just an off day. Next time we will ask for Fernando or Amed again. We’ll likely give them another chance and hope to see the level of service we’ve come to expect.
