Dr Patel is an exceptional heart surgeon. He actually saved my husband’s life after he had a massive heart attack and barely walked in through the emergency room. Dr Patel did not hesitate, my husband was in surgery within minutes. We had a very fragile and complex case. Dr Patel was amazing in his care and follow up. Always available to answer our questions. His team is just as amazing. We absolutely love his staff, very caring. We are grateful for Dr Patel.
In December of 2017, Dr Patel did a quadruple bypass on me. Please know that you will not find a finer more skilled heart on the planet (as far as I am concerned). As I am currently just over 2 years out from surgery, he clearly saved and extended my life. If able I would definitely rate him well above the 5 star max rating. Even during the "briefings" he gave me (not an assistant!!) he always took his time and was completely thorough and made sure I understood.
Thanks to Dr. Patel and his team, I am recovering from triple bypass. The first time I met him he was very knowledgeable about my heart, how the arteries were different, and how confident he was about correcting my problems. Every day he visited me with his team all smiling and upbeat. After reviewing all his training at John Hopkins University I was convinced that he was great and I was lucky to have him. Dr. Patel is my hero! Instead of watching the Super Bowl party I ended up at the ER room at St. Mary's Hospital. After discovering I had an old fashioned heart attack, the good folks at St. Mary's transferred me to their sister hospital, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. I had the good fortune of falling into the care of Dr. Patel and his excellent team who determined I needed open heart surgery. My surgery was performed on Thursday February 6th. Dr Patel performed triple bypass on my husband. He was with us before, during and after surgery explaining everything every step of the way. His team of PA's, Justine and Lesley were with us all the way in the hospital. You couldn't ask for a more competent and compassionate team.
Visit was great, Dr Patel explains everything, answers all questions. After surgery, he showed up frequently, hands on, very attentive.

Dr.Patel is extremely professional,explains everything very thoroughly. He is a wonderful surgeon, did a fantastic job with my fathers procedure. He was with us every step of the way along with his knowledgeable PA Justine making sure we understood what was going on. I highly recommend Dr.Patel!!
