I went into the office with a very negative attitude due to the reviews from some of her patients. I had to take the test to check the strength in my arms. When Dr. Tumarada came into the room to do her part, she asked why I was only doing my arms that day.? I told her they scheduled me for two different appointments. Misdiagnosed father and disease progressed. Had to receive abnormal results from Medical Assistant after insisting r/t MD not being in office for several weeks. MD works fulltime as hospitalist, part time in office, and schedule limited in summer. Other partners in office do not provide coverage for one another. Was told that if a patient needed to see her and couldn’t wait was referred to hospital to see her. Why should patients incur an emergency room charge ? Referred to Dr. Tumarada by my doctor…two weeks passed. No call to schedule an appointment. Referred again (x2)…two weeks passed again. No call to schedule an appointment. Referred AGAIN (x3)…three weeks passed. After the 3rd week, I finally got a call for an appointment set for 4 weeks later. Four days before the appointment and after 10-11 weeks of waiting, I received a call to reschedule the appointment because the doctor was changing her summer schedule.
