There was a lot that was poorly handled or explained in the process. I felt that we were getting decent check-ups the entire time, which is why we first went to 9 short months, but then when it came to the actual delivery day (the most important day) the entire service/process completely fell apart on my wife and I. 1) Their service is a huge gamble! Jenn is a phenomenal midwife. She attended the births of my babies and was a knowledgeable and calm presence for both me and my husband. I was so happy when I found out she had purchased Nine Short Months (within the last year-ish) because her dedication to the birth community and her clients is top-notch. Jenn is a fantastic midwife. I reached out to her a couple weeks into the 3rd trimester of my twin pregnancy. I was having a really tough time feeling comfortable and confident with my OB office’s plan and desired management of my pregnancy. I so badly wanted a natural delivery, preferably at home.
