Dr. Yedavalli and her team have been a blessing to me and I appreciate their concern and expertise concerning my treatments. I saw someone say something in regards to being treated unfair due to being African American. Ethnic background hasn't made a difference in how I've been treated. She is very sweet and kind with her tone and facial expressions but she completely dismissed the option of hope that I can survive my cancer diagnosis. She just said she would give me chemo and focus on "quality of life", she didn't even want to discuss any other options of me surviving this. I know she cannot guarantee my survival but she could at least try to save my life. Why would you become an oncologist if you aren't even going to try to help me survive.
