I’ve seen Dr. Liu for many years. She is a terrific psychiatrist. I’m so grateful I found her after many less than excellent experiences in Illinois. I would 100% trust her with my mental health and that of any of my teenagers.
Dr. Nina Ni Liu treated my son through the Highland Park Adolescent Behavioral Health Program. Terrible at answering questions regarding my son’s condition. She classified my son as a daee to himself and to others when he spent the time in the hospital sitting in his room. Cookie cutter treatment is not acceptable.
My family has had a great experience with Dr Liu. She was able to tackle the complex needs of my 7 year old son who was diagnosed with ADHD and has behavioral issues at school. She has been a guiding light through medication management and has built great rapport with my son.
I second Craig Diamond's warning. Beware of Dr. Liu. My 19 year daughter is experiencing some mental health issues. She had 2 zoom sessions with Dr. Liu and she prescribed her LITHIUM. Without ever meeting her. Do not trust this woman with your child's health.
