Having been a top agent in Weber/Davis County for years, I can confidently say Nilson Homes is my favorite builder! They not only take great care of their buyers but go out of their way to take care of the agents they work with too! Do you want lakefront property with no views? Move to the new development by Nilson Homes in Plain City! You’ll have plenty of water and no solutions. Let this review serve as a warning to anyone thinking of buying a Nilson Home. The high water table in western Weber County and the poor soil drainage (clay) is legendary. Overall it was a good experience. The home is very nice. While every home will have small things that are wrong here and there the only thing that sticks out big is the paint they use on the walls feels very cheep and scratches/chips extremely easy so we will probably have to paint again in a few years with something more durable.
