There is no place I’d trust more with my eyes � than Nilsen. From the moment you walk in and even after you leave you are treated promptly and with the utmost care. The doctors really take their time with you giving you the best eye exams and ensuring your contacts and glasses are a perfect fit!

RecommendedBoth my Husband and myself went to Virginia Eye Institute for years and for many reasons looked to find another provider. We found that our insurance was accepted by Nielsen, so we gave them a try......WE LOVE THIS PRACTICE. They are professional, timely, thorough and always concerned about our needs. I have been going to Dr. Nilsen and Nilsen Eye Care for 20 years and they are the Best anywhere in every way! I went to a couple of the big places in Richmond before I found Dr. Nilsen and I won't trust my eyes with anywhere else. I have been a patient for many years and have never had anything but positive, pleasant and helpful experiences. Everyone you come in contact with from the moment you walk in the door is welcoming and I like that there isn't a lot of turnover and there are familiar faces each time I go. Would most certainly recommend!
Always a positive visit. Everyone is so friendly & very professional. Love Dr. Nielsen She never seems to rush through your appt. Takes time to explain your xrays and exam. Thumbs up all the way.
