I have seen Dr. Shein since I was a teenager, and she is extremely supportive and helpful throughout all life's transitions - she is currently helping me and supporting me while starting a family. Extremely straightforward, honest, and warm.
I’m not happy with her. I saw her 3 years ago. I also want to comment that her office staff is beyond rude. After several MRI’s, testing, etc, she told me I did not meet criteria for Multiple Sclerosis. For the second time, I was diagnosed with Optic Nerve issues. When I brought my MRI and EEG into the Opthamologist, she was aghast. She did not listen to me, and waisted my time. She did not look at ALL my mri’s and other symptoms.
Dr. Shein is a very competant physition. Main focus patients well being. Explains clearly and with compation any question,Honesty is apparent including. A warm smile that can light up the room..truly from the bottom of my ?? with out her and3 other area physitions I would have given up. , hank you and your present staff for caring?? Nancy bouche
I would never refer a friend or family member to Dr. Shein. I have seen her for 2 different health conditions. Both times I went to different doctors after her and had better results. I recommend if you see her and are told nothing more can be done- don't listen. See a different neurologist. I saw her the second time (with follow up as well) only because she was closest and excepted my insurance. Stayed positive- gave benefit of the doubt that after 8 years she improved. She didn't.
