She told my Mom and I about ambulatory EEG for my seizures and to think about it. We had never heard of it, educated ourselves more about it, and mentioned it at my next appointment as a yes. I was put on an antidepressant that wasn’t supposed to cause weight gain. It ended up being a medication given to nursing home patients to get them to eat. I haven’t been able to get under 200 lbs ever since.
Worst doctor I have ever been too, by far.
Dr. Shein is an outstanding Dr. and has helped me with my Migranes. I've suffered with these for over 35 years.
She is amazing. She takes the time to listen and is the only doctor who has been able to help me.
She's the best Doctor I have seen. I'm a R.N. on disability and have multiple problems. She's the first doctor to question things, to order tests until we can figure out what's going on. Extremely personable, which you don't find in a lot of Doctors anymore!!
I am a patient of Dr. Peterson, who diagnosed me with temporal lobe epilepsy. I am a nurse and was curious about how to look at an EEG. And because Dr. Shein is the doctor to read EEGs, she took the time to sit with me and show me what epilepsy discharges look like. I was extremely grateful for her to spend her precious time with me to explain them. She also now treats my stepdad for MS. He does NOT like doctors, as he has had issues with many in the past, however, he is comfortable with her.
Wonderful doctor! She genuinely cares about her patients. I have been seeing her for many years and she is always very helpful.
