Easily the worst steak I’ve ever had. Their short rib tastes like it was left in barbecue sauce overnight. Made me throw up when I got home. Appetizers are awful and pretentious. Much better restaurants in SF.
This place has forever ruined me for regular steak. I had the wagyu tasting menu and the steak was spot on....... Let alone the service these people provide was outstanding
I grew up on a farm. So steak is my thing. It was. Ehhh ok. First off the inconsistency of service is kind of annoying. If you’re a local- the red carpet! If you’re not, expect a wait. A long one, unless you schmooze and slip a $20. The food was way too rich, got a to go box with my steak that cost me $200+ and guess what- switched my order with the local next to me (he got the same order but ate more) - they deliberately gave him my bigger steak order. Pig ear was really good, along with the crispy potato. The mushroom was really good, I've never had that one before. It looks like a cauliflower and is chewy! The omaha ribeye steak I thought was ok, and cooked a little bit more towards medium well when we ordered Medium. Would pass on the peas, the pickled ones caught me a little of guard. Daniel was a really great server. Thanks for the experience! Would go back!
