We went to Nikki’s last night for dinner. This was my first experience eating traditional Indian cuisine. The restaurant was very clean and we were offered hand sanitizer upon taking our seats. The owner who took our order and prepared our food was very patient & kind while answering my many questions & guiding me through the menu & what the different dishes contained. Great selection. Sizable portions. So tasty. Such a good value compared to a lot of other choices in Tahoe. Very nice staff too.
To start with the positives, the tea and the madras coffee was good. Vada pav which is essentially batata or potato vada was not vada pav, the stuffing had hardly any potato in it. It had chickpea flour and spies and then again dipped in chick pea batter and fried. This should be mentioned in the menu as chickpea vada. Very disappointed..
My husband and I love the food. We are regulars and have been coming here since 2015. The staff are wonderful, the food awesome and we recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely disgusting food would not give more than a -5 horrible pani puri, absolutely disgusting samosa chaat let’s not take about the tea awful.-5 don’t recommend this place at all . Plus the icing on the cake 60.00 bill
Incredible Indian food! Can’t speak highly enough of the staff, their attentiveness and the delicious food. Best naan I’ve had in years. Thank you Nikki’s!
