I brought my teen daughter in for a fever & possible kidney infection. Dr. Rangwalla wanted to have a pelvic exam done and when we refused, she made us feel as if we were wrong & caused so much more unnecessary stress to my child. This doctor has no business working with ANYBODY, let alone children! Thank God for another doctor stepping in...my child spent 4 days in the hospital for a kidney infection. We brought our baby to Scottish Rite due to a high fever that resulted in a febrile seizure. Dr. Rangwalla immediately assumed she had meningitis without showing any other symptoms. This doctor wanted to order a spinal tap and we did not feel comfortable with that option because of the possibility of her ending up paralyzed and or infection at the site. This doctor rated a follow up visit as more difficult than the original diagnosis (from a different ER doctor). This cost me an additional $1,000 and the only possible explanation is incompetence or fraud. Emails and calls were not responded to, instead the doctor sent my bill to collections.
