Average and definitely not worth the price. The space is in the desert of the design district which is a nice way to say an industrial waste land. The parking is atrocious and requires valet. The space itself is dark and windowless which helps hide the low quality interiors. They splurged on light fixtures but the rest is boring. Too often in Dallas there’s great ambience but the food leaves much to be desired. Not here! The ambience was great while the food/meal was absolutely delicious! I also loved the presentation. I’ll be back!
Food started off good. Crudo was good then we got some flat dumplings! I’ve never seen them flat and they were super soggy. Main dishes came out super quick, room temperature and just stale. Lobster and prawns were rubbery and super chewy. Waiter said plate was hot which usually indicates it was put in the microwave but the food on the plate was not hot. You could definitely tell it was not freshly made and the lobster plate was $70. Our server was great, nothing bad to say about him.
Came here back in July and I’m still thinking about how good it was lol. Their happy hour menu is so worth it. We had the Lychee Blossom, Momotaro Margarita, and Matcha 3x and they were all delicious. The Oysters were clean and flavorful and the broth with the Spicy Chicken Wontons was addicting, we were recommended to save it for the rice and that really elevated the experience!
