I had an ankle OCD during sports and sought second opinions from Dr. Hsu. Dr Hsu walked me through my MRI scan and showed me where the lesions were. He explained the surgery procedures, recovery, and expectations for future ankle functions in detail. I had the surgery in March 2025. He did a fantastic job. I had little pain the second day post surgery and recovered very well. I am able to go back to running, weight training and the sports I did prior to injury.
Dr. Hsu is great! His patient interaction skills are excellent. I dislocated a tendon in my ankle and tore ligaments. He explained my injury, my options, and long term expectations in detail. He made me feel both at ease and that I was the decision-maker in the plan of care. The surgery and first 6 months of recovery have gone just as he explained. Dr. Hsu is an amazing surgeon and a kind, compassionate person. I had a bunionectomy in January 2023, and Jan ‘24. He reassured me and eased my worries before the surgery. I had minimal pain during recovery. He is one of a kind and his staff are upbeat, professional and helpful too. I no longer have pain in my feet and the results look amazing too !
Dr. Hsu operated on my wife's right foot a year ago. She interviewed three talented surgeons and is so glad she traveled the extra distance so that Dr. Hsu could perform the procedure. Before the surgery she could barely walk and was in terrible pain. A year later she can walk for miles without pain and is so grateful.
