The owner is very rude and abrasive. Went in to ask about a bouquet just for me for my private wedding. First, he told us just a second and went in to the back, and then came out to talk to us a few minutes later. I said when my wedding was he said what was the date? I had to repeat it to him a second time and he said nope! Absolutely cannot make that work since it is around Mother’s Day (despite it being 1.5 months away). A single bouquet!! My sons wanted to purchase a Thanksgiving center piece for our family gathering and their mother's birthday. They went to Nielsen's and picked one that was pre-made with 1 candle. They really wanted a 2 candle item. The employee/owner said he could make one up in just a couple of minutes... and he did. My son said the guy whistled while worked and came out with this beautiful center piece. Thanks, Nielsen Flower Shop, for another pleasant shopping experience at your business. Wow, we found flowers for my father’s funeral very quickly and we had a very personalized 1:1 experience. I highly recommend going to see Paul the florist - the shop is beautifully decorated and he really knows his stuff to make recommendations.
