I have been recommending the Nielsen Eye Center and LASIK to friends and family. The only question you will ask yourself post-surgery (after you shed some tears of joy) is - why didn't I schedule my consult and surgery with Dr. Nielsen sooner?!
I had LASIK at 10:30 this morning with Dr. Moreira, came home and slept for 6 hours, and now I'm staring at everything amazed to see what the world actually looks like. 10 hours post procedure and my eyes feel 85% of normal and my vision is excellent. I put LASIK off for years because I was terrified of the actual procedure and the cost, but everyone at The Nielson Eye Center made both very comfortable!!!

I just woke up from my after lasik nap and all I can say is wow! Can't wait to see tomorrow! Casey King
Dr Moreira performed my lasik mono vision procedure at 11am and it was quick and easy followed by a six hour nap!! LOL. I feel great and LOVE not needing glasses already!! Back to school tomorrow! SEEING IS BELIEVING!!!
Yesterday afternoon I walked into The Nielsen Eye Center wearing my prescription glasses, I walked out wearing non-prescription sunglasses, and this morning I woke up with 20/20 vision!! Awesome!
